Refund Policy

1. The SoDevX Commitment

At SoDevX, we engineer digital masterpieces. Due to the highly customized, labor-intensive, and premium nature of our architectural and design services, our refund policies are strictly defined to protect the integrity of our engineering process.

2. Development Services & Custom Projects

For custom web, mobile, and SaaS development projects, resources and engineering hours are allocated immediately upon agreement.

  • Initial Deposit: The initial project deposit (typically 50% of the total cost) is non-refundable. This covers the intensive Discovery, Planning, and initial UI/UX Design phases.
  • Cancellation During Development: If a project is cancelled by the client during the development phase, all completed work up to that point will be billed at our standard hourly rate. No refunds will be issued for work already executed.
  • Delivery: Once the final code is deployed to your production environment, the project is considered complete and no refunds will be granted.

3. Digital Products & SaaS Subscriptions

For pre-built software, UI kits, or subscription-based SaaS products (such as SoTask or Nexus Core):

  • Subscriptions: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months.
  • Digital Downloads: Due to the nature of downloadable digital assets (codebases, 3D models, design files), all sales are final. We do not offer refunds on digital downloads once the asset has been accessed or downloaded.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

In the rare event of a critical failure on our end—such as the inability to deliver the core functionality outlined in the Statement of Work—we will evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Such evaluations are at the sole discretion of the SoDevX executive team.
